NATO Facilitates Increase in Heroin Production in Afghanistan

Russia asks NATO to eliminate poppy fields in Afghanistan, because of the dramatic increase of heroin being illegally trafficked in. Viktor Ivanov discusses the issue in this Telegraph article.
NATO, of course, does nothing. Except guard the poppy fields. Geraldo Rivera reports for Fox News on the United States military guarding the poppy fields in this video. Gives the war on drugs a whole new twist, huh?
Le Roy School Board Approves Testing

According to WGRZ 2 TV, the Le Roy school district has approved environmental testing at the high school, where over a dozen students have been diagnosed with conversion disorder. Soil and air testing will be performed by Leader Professional Services at a cost over over $70,000. Check this link for updates on the situation. This is a follow up on this earlier blog. It seems like mainstream media has decided to bury this story for the time being, after pumping it on news channels until a possible link to fracking natural gas on the high school campus came up.
Fracking May Be Cause of Le Roy School Girls’ Health Issues

There is possibly fracking used in gas wells near the school. Funny how Dr. Drew Pinsky is do defensive of the industry. Could chemicals used in fracking be the source of the problems these girls are having?
