NATO Facilitates Increase in Heroin Production in Afghanistan

Russia asks NATO to eliminate poppy fields in Afghanistan, because of the dramatic increase of heroin being illegally trafficked in. Viktor Ivanov discusses the issue in this Telegraph article.

NATO, of course, does nothing. Except guard the poppy fields. Geraldo Rivera reports for Fox News on the United States military guarding the poppy fields in this video. Gives the war on drugs a whole new twist, huh?
